Thinking about the ultimate dream trip may not include using gold and diamond swizzle sticks to stir  drinks, but maybe it should.  Russian mining consortium,World of Diamonds Group, which introduced the Jane Seymour Blue Diamond ring, has created 50 swizzle sticks made of 18-karat gold and diamonds. Each stirrer is meticulously set with 20 white diamonds and one rare blue diamond, and each carries a value of more than $20,500, for a total of $1 million for the set of 50.

The stirrers were commissioned by experiential travel company, DreamMaker, which is offering a nearly $14-million dream vacation, during which the stirrers will be presented to the person who buys the trip.  The trip is entitled Passport to 50: A  $13,875,000 Private Jet Trip Circumnavigating the Globe
.  Essentially, the luxury experience is designed as a milestone celebration, and features a custom-outfitted private jet (Boeing 767) in which the client will travel the world, landing in 20 cities.

Additionally, as many as 50 friends can join, flying on a second Boeing Business Jet. The 20-day trip will take place in August 2017, and is designed so that the client spends just 12 percent of the time in the air. While flying, there will be a $500,000 charity poker tournament with a top-ranked poker player, a fashion show and more. The trip will begin and end in Asia.

The swizzle sticks are an added touch of luxury that the person purchasing the trip will get to take home as an object-of-art souvenir of the trip. To create the swizzle sticks, World of Diamonds Group engaged multi master artisans and designers who put more than a month’s time into the design and hand creation of the first $20,640 piece.

Each swizzle stick features a spinning globe made of 26 grams of 18-karat gold —  in a combination of both matt and polished finishes — and is set with 20  white and one blue diamond. The 20 diamonds represent the 20 cities in which the traveler lands during the Passport to 50 trip. The blue diamond at the top of the stick is a 0.11-carat fancy blue diamond designed to emulate the blue sky.  The swizzle stick is presented in a leather case and carries a lifetime guarantee.

“Through this trip, we have a way to act as a conduit to positively impact children’s lives,” says Gregory Patrick, founder of DreamMaker. “It makes no sense to work so hard to please the most discerning of clientele without making the same effort to balance the decadence with an element of kindness that delivers higher levels of fulfillment.” The company works with charity partners such as Water.org, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Make- a-Wish Foundation, and Whole Child International.

“The swizzle stick is a marvel of diamonds and beyond, a masterpiece that stirs conversation,” says  World of Diamonds Group Director Karan Tilani.
